Accessibility Statement

Last updated: April 20, 2026

Our Commitment

CleanRev is committed to making our software usable by people with the widest possible range of abilities. We target WCAG 2.1 Level AA and treat accessibility as ongoing work, not a one-time box to check.

1. Standards We Aim For

We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA as our benchmark, consistent with Section 508 of the US Rehabilitation Act and the expectations of Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). We do not claim full conformance — we claim commitment and ongoing effort.

2. How We Test

We test the CleanRev web application, mobile apps, and marketing website using:

  • Automated testing: axe-core runs in our continuous integration pipeline on every code change. Builds fail if new accessibility violations are introduced.
  • Keyboard navigation: All interactive controls are reachable and operable using a keyboard.
  • Screen reader testing: Manual spot-checks with VoiceOver (macOS, iOS) and TalkBack (Android) for critical flows.
  • Color contrast: Verified to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios for text and interactive elements.
  • Reduced motion: We respect the prefers-reduced-motion system setting for animations.

3. Known Limitations

Automated testing catches approximately 40% of accessibility issues. We are actively working on the following known gaps:

  • Some complex data-table views (schedule, invoice history) have not yet been validated with full screen-reader testing
  • Drag-and-drop interactions in the job scheduler do not currently have a full keyboard alternative — a text-based scheduling form is available as a workaround
  • Third-party embedded content (Stripe checkout, Mapbox maps) is subject to those vendors' own accessibility posture
  • The mobile app is earlier in accessibility testing than the web app

We publish these limitations because hiding them would be worse than naming them.

4. Features That Support Accessibility

  • Keyboard shortcuts for common actions (documented in-app under Help)
  • High-contrast text meeting WCAG AA ratios in both light and dark themes
  • Form fields have visible labels and clear error messages
  • Semantic HTML and ARIA landmarks for screen-reader navigation
  • Focus indicators are visible and never removed
  • No time limits on form completion or session expiry during active use

5. How to Report an Accessibility Barrier

If you encounter something on CleanRev that prevents you from using our services, we want to know. Please email accessibility@cleanrev.io with:

  • A description of the problem
  • The page URL or app screen where it occurred
  • The assistive technology you were using (if any) — e.g., JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, TalkBack
  • Your browser and operating system

If you prefer another channel, you can also reach us at support@cleanrev.io or by phone through our support line.

6. Response Time

We aim to acknowledge accessibility reports within 2 business days and to remediate confirmed blockers within 30 days. Complex issues may take longer; when they do, we will keep you informed of progress.

7. Alternative Access

If an accessibility barrier prevents you from using a specific feature, contact support. We will provide an alternative means to accomplish the task while we work on a permanent fix — for example, a CSV export instead of an interactive table, or a support agent entering data on your behalf with your authorization.

8. Ongoing Improvements

We treat accessibility as part of our definition of "done" for every new feature. New user-facing code is required to pass automated accessibility checks before merging. We conduct targeted accessibility reviews when we redesign major flows.

9. Third-Party Tools

CleanRev integrates with third-party services (Stripe for payments, Mapbox for maps, OpenAI for AI assistance, carriers for SMS). We have limited control over these tools' accessibility but will work with you to find alternatives when a third-party accessibility barrier blocks a core workflow.

10. Feedback and Formal Complaints

We welcome feedback and take formal complaints seriously. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may also contact the US Access Board (access-board.gov) or your state's accessibility enforcement agency.
